About Me
I’m Chris, a qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) with almost a decade of experience
After many years instructing with The AA I now run my own local driving school: Electric Mile
I offer automatic lessons in a modern VW ID.3 electric car
I teach in Newbury, Thatcham, Woolton Hill and the surrounding areas
I adapt my approach to support each pupil through the process of learning to drive
My goal is to get my pupils ready for test, at their own pace
I’m calm and patient – take a look at some reviews from my previous pupils
Lesson Times
Monday: 7am to 2.30pm
Tuesday: 7am to 5.30pm
Wednesday: 7am to 5.30pm
Thursday: 7am to 2.30pm
Friday: 7am to 2:30pm

Minimum 6 hours to cover all modules.

Chris is a brilliant driving instructor and I’d highly recommend him (particularly for anxious learners like myself). I’ve had quite a few instructors and Chris was easily one of the best — he’s supportive, level-headed, and receptive. He picked up on what worked and what didn’t work well for me as a learner and adjusted his teaching style accordingly. I’ve had instructors with a one-size-fits-all approach to teaching but Chris isn’t one of them. Only wish I’d found him sooner! Many thanks for everything, Chris!
